Toronto is about to set a new QR Code world record.

If you are living in Toronto Canada then you shouldn’t miss the event in North York Esther Shiner Stadium on Saturday 16th where the Youth unlimited team is about to set up new QR Code world record. Canadians really took the initiative with setting up QR Code records. It is about time that a QR Code trophy should be established… for the next pretenders.

This informal competition is interesting as it will determine what the limits are for size, scale and creativity. As well as the efforts needed when involving more and more people. These kind of events are really telling us how important technology is in our lives today. To get the public’s attention or address particular problem in the community, you need to be capable of performing something amazing to be heard.

Toronto, North York Esther Shiner Stadium will host the event.

Esponce is part of this Historical event.
We at Esponce are very proud that we can help them with their noble cause and we are partial to setting records ourselves. To enhance the experience we have prepared the mobile app at http://live.theqrcode.ca/ where you can follow the Live event through tweet posts. If you are going to be there do not forget to take photos and tweet with the official hash tag #QRcodeTO.

Here are the previous world records that are about to be broken.
Each team have chosen their own techniques to create the giant code and we need to mention that the Code needs to be scannable even there are no official rules.

Good luck to Scott and the team! Follow them @TheQRCode_CA
